Summary of activity
Tunisia adopted a new constitution in 2014. Parliamentary and presidential elections were deemed free, fair and transparent. The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to the Tunisian quartet that led the Tunisian National Dialogue. Male July 25, 2020 ,the president of the republic suspended the work of the parliament and dismissed the prime minister and made exceptional provisions in decrees that strengthen the presidential power.
